For the 2011 Awards, the Internet Advertising Bureau asked us to create the brand image for the whole festival, including the Open Titles for each category.
Media and technology are the main words of the festival, and to convey this we decided to use a different point of view, establishing a parallel between the old school idea of technology with lots of vintage machines, and the discarded and obsolete objects found in the streets in our days.
The IAB Awards is the only interactive awards competition judged by an all-star panel—advertising agency executives who create campaigns for the world’s most powerful brands, marketers with direct control over many of the largest advertising budgets in the world, and major media company leaders.
